The
Flaws in NY's Family Courts
This
show focuses on Part II of the flaws in the NY Family
Courts as seen by an ACS caseworker. He gives a view not
only from the perspective of a caseworker but from that
of a parent. His children were removed from his custody
not because he or his wife was charged with abuse or neglect
but because they were charged with having an argument.
His children have been held in foster care for over two
years at a cost of over $200,000 to you the tax payer
and the courts have not yet even completed the fact finding
hearing. You will hear facts that you may refuse to believe
but yet are true.The
Family Court Judges rule in favor of the Administration
for Children's Services (ACS), in over 90% of the cases
brought before them. Yet these same judges hardly, if
ever, speak to the children being affected by the charges
ACS brings against their parents.
