Some
of the results of Mr. Henderson's efforts are seen in
articles and a TV program he produces called "A Struggle
for Justice." One of the articles hewrote on this subject
has brought national attention to this issue when quoted
in a monthly physiology journal published by the Association
of Black Physiologist. Another one of the papers has become
a petition and a list of requests and suggestions that
we believe, if implemented, will help to better protect
children at risk at home and in foster care. They have
since become resolutions #1353 and #1423 and are currently
waiting for a hearing date in the NY City Council. These
resolutions are available for you to view, along with
a copy of one of the paper referred to titled, "Are ACS
and the Family Court Destroying Our Communities Even More
Than Police Brutality?" That is the paper that was frequently
quoted and referred to in the October 2000, issue of "Psych
Discourse," a monthly news journal published by "The Association
of Black Psychologists. more
