Expected Outcome Created by ORRCF

I. ORRCF will create an increase in the involvement of religious institutions that without a doubt has the greatest amount of influence over the communities most at risk and the highest rate of removals.

II. The increased involvement and support of community and religious institutions will create a better working relationship with the agencies that are charged with servicing these communities.

III. ORRCF will help motivate and encourage religious institutions to become more involved in counseling and preventive services for their congregations and surrounding community.

IV. ORRCF will encourage organizing independent community based organizations that will put a greater demand for change on legislators who will have to depend on them for support during election time.

V. ORRCF will provide examples of why and how their support will help create new legislation that will make a positive change in the policies and practices that govern the way ACS and the Family Courts deal with their community in general and low-risk cases in particular. .

VI. The final results of ORRCF will be an increase in reunification and a decrease in removals of children that fit into low-risk categories. This will produce an increase in available resources to deal with high-risk cases of abuse and neglect.

VIII. IN CONCLUSION a. The goals of ORRCF have to realistically be defined by the resources that can be raised to fuel the many levels of support to make this a successful project. I however continue to put my whole heart into this project and am very confident that over a three to five year period there will be a very visible positive result that exist in it's wake.
